Qatar is a destination which is full of malls for some memorable and fulfilling shopping experiences. Here in this article, we take a look at 5 very popular offerings.

1- Doha Festival City

This is one of Qatar’s most visited shopping destination and it is not hard to see why. This mall is one of the largest developments in the Middle East. You can discover stores for all the big branded names such as Harvey Nichols, Charlotte Tilbury, and Dior. But when you need a break to refresh, there are more than 100 eating places that cater for those looking for a more casual setting with cafes or for a more fine dining experience you’re covered with some first-class restaurants too. You also have some excellent family fun opportunities in the form of parks, which included theme parks based around Angry Birds, Snow Dunes and even one named Virtuosity.

2- Ezdan Mall

As well as having worldwide big hitters such as Boots, H & M and KFC you also have plenty of exclusive stores. This is a very busy and popular mall and this is helped by most items the average person could want to buy are present. This is a clean, very well designed mall that is set out in a way which should help shoppers find what they want. As well as plenty of areas for eating and entertainment, perhaps one of the reasons for its popularity are based on the catering for bookworms with a nice selection of book stores, an area that is perhaps overlooked by many malls.

3- Mirqab Mall

This is one of the most famous shopping sheets in Doha, which can be found located in the central area of the city known as Al Sadd. This mall is known not only for its shopping opportunities but a musical fountain too. Plus as well as a cinema, there is a playground to keep the kids amused. Once again a large array of shops are present, which cover the sale of beauty goods, clothing, entertainment and most other types of goods that the average consumer will be seeking on their trip. Furthermore, Mirqab even has its supermarket which may mean you can get a full day worth of shopping completed! 

4- Mall of Qatar

Spread over 5.4 million square feet with more than 500 stores, this is an entertainment and shopping fueled destination to remember! The mall showcases a range of live shows on a 360-degree multi-lift rotating festival stage with amazing sound, light and animation effects. This is another mall with a cinema, this one has the largest IMAX Laser 3D projection system in the world. If you fancy a spot of bowling there is an 8-lane alley and so much more entertainment to be had! And of course, there are all those shops, we are talking hundreds of sought after brands and plenty of different types of goods are all on display here.

5- City Centre Mall

Another very good mall which offers such a handy shopping experience, with its large amount of shops and eating places that include some great restaurants, movie theatre, and even an ice rink. But that is not all City Centre Mall also has pharmacies, hotels, taxis and a massive Carrefour supermarket which should answer all of your grocery needs! Shopping wise you have a lot of the more ‘everyday’ brands on offer, so this could be the perfect option for the average shopper who wants a mall to regularly visit for their buying needs and an option that is a bit more budget-friendly than some of the malls featured on this page.
